Create your first newsletter

Follow these steps to go from zero to receiving curated content in your inbox.
1

Head to reduce.sh and create an account. You can sign up with email or SSO.
2

Create a newsletter

Click New Newsletter and give it a name and optional description. For example: “AI Coding Weekly”.
3

Add sources

Search for content sources to follow. You can add:
  • YouTube channels — e.g., @fireship, @anthropic-ai
  • Subreddits — e.g., r/ClaudeAI, r/LocalLLaMA
  • X/Twitter accounts — e.g., @AnthropicAI
Start with 3-5 sources. You can always add more later.
4

Create sections

Sections define what content to extract from your sources. Each section has a name and a prompt. For example:
  • New Tools → “New AI coding tools and extensions that have been released”
  • Tips & Techniques → “Practical tips for using AI assistants in coding workflows”
The AI uses your prompt to filter and summarize relevant content from all your sources.
5

Set your cadence

Choose how often you want to receive your newsletter:
  • Daily — every morning
  • Weekly — pick a day (e.g., every Monday)
  • Custom — specific days of the week, every X days, etc.
6

Activate

Toggle your newsletter to active. You’ll start receiving emails at your next scheduled delivery time.

What happens next

At each scheduled delivery:
  1. Reduce fetches all new content from your sources (since your last delivery)
  2. Each section’s prompt filters and extracts the relevant information
  3. The AI synthesizes a readable summary with links to original content
  4. A formatted email is sent to your inbox
Every delivery only includes fresh content — no duplicates across deliveries.
